Ocean Studies
This black and white photographic series is a meditation on presence, loss, and the vast interior landscapes stirred by the sea. The ocean, stripped of color, becomes a mirror — for memory, for longing, for stillness. Each image captures the threshold between movement and silence, permanence and change. These shorelines are liminal spaces, where I dwell “in between”: between countries, identities, languages — and between who I was and who I am becoming. The series reflects my ongoing journey of transformation, where the horizon is not an ending, but a place of return and renewal.
